This special coin release marks 100 years of the unforgettable war poem In Flanders Fields of which an inscription is included in the emotive coin design. Sculpted larks surround the orange coloured rings which represent the sunset glow, referred to in the poem.

50,000 pieces of the 'C' Mintmark type are available also.
