'
Dormouse and Jerboa'
The 
dormouse is a rodent of the family 
Gliridae. Dormice are mostly found in Europe, although some live in Africa and Asia. They are particularly known for their long periods of hibernation.
The 
jerboa forms the bulk of the membership of the family 
Dipodidae. Jerboas are hopping desert rodents found throughout Northern Africa and Asia east to northern China and Manchuria. They tend to live in hot deserts.
